跟怀孕有关的英文用语

在英文的世界裡，光是「怀孕」，就有非常多不同的用法。许多都是西方的通俗用语，光看字面难以理解。因此今天讲师Niharika就要带大家认识10种表达怀孕的英文用法以及怀孕有关的英文。

1.Expecting

表达怀孕时的的期待。

Ex. She is expecting her first child. 她很期待第一胎的到来。

2.Carrying a child

表示怀孕

Ex. She is carrying john’s child. 她怀著John的孩子。

3.Preggers / Preggo

美国通俗用语，表示怀孕的人。

Ex. My friends is pregger. 我的朋友正在怀孕。

4.Up the duff

通俗用语。表示某人无预警的怀孕，不小心怀孕。

Ex. Ben got Jenny up the duff. Ben 不小心让Jenny怀孕了。

5.In the pudding club

通俗用语。表示女人怀孕

Ex. I am in the pudding club. 我怀孕了。

6.Up the spout

苏格兰通俗用语。

Ex. My wife is up the spout again. 我的太太又怀孕了。

7.Have a bun in the oven

通俗用语。表示怀孕，有些肥胖。

Ex. Do you have a bun in the oven? 你怀孕了吗？

8.Knocked up

不礼貌的通俗用语。表示怀孕。

Ex. The guy didn’t use protection so the girl got knocked up. 这位男士没有做好保护措施，所以让女方怀孕了。

9.Eating for two

通俗用语。表示一吃二补。

Ex. My daughter now is eating for two. 我的女儿现在一人吃两人补。

10.In the family way

通俗用语。表示怀孕

Ex. We are in the family way because my wife is pregnant. 我们将要建立一个家庭，因为我太太怀孕了。
