On有关短语？On除了可以当作介系词「上面」解释以外，还可以有不同的使用方式哦！engVid的James讲师在影片中提及了以下几用到On的常见惯用语和短语动词，要让大家更认识这个字！

1. On the house

这是指「公司/老板招待」，或「公司/老板请客」，不用自己出钱的意思。

e.g. You don’t have to pay for the drinks because they’re on the house.

例：你不用付饮料的钱，因为老板请客。

2. On target

这就是「进展顺利」或「一切都在轨道上」之意。

e.g. If you are on target with a piece of work, you are making good progress and likely to achieve what

you planned.

例：如果你的工作一切都进展顺利，就是不断在进步，且一步步朝计划顺利迈进中。

3. On the horizon

这是指「某件事即将发生」。

e.g. There is no new drug on the horizon that will make this disease easier to treat.

例：目前还没有新的药物能使治疗这种疾病变得更容易。

4. On the dot (at a specific time)

这组片语表示「淮时…」，at后面记得接上一个具体的时间哦！

e.g. Be here on the dot.

例：请淮时到这裡来。

5. On the go

这组片语和Busy同意，皆表示「忙个不停」或「忙碌」的意思。

e.g. I’ve been on the go all day, and I’m really tired.

例：我一整天都忙个不停，真的很累。

6. On the hour

这就是「整点淮时…」的意思。

e.g. The plane departs every hour on the hour.

例：飞机每小时整点起飞。
